Jennifer Bodine and the Food Challenge

The Digital Photography Club of Annapolis held it's last meeting of the 2007-2008 year on Monday, June 16th at Maryland Hall. The featured speaker, Jennifer Bodine, presented the photographic work of her father, A. Aubrey Bodine. Ms. Bodine brought and sold copies of "Bodine's Chesapeake Bay Country".

After Ms. Bodine's presentation, professional food photographer Steve Buchanan returned to review member's photographs submitted for the Food Challenge. Steve reviewed about 30 photographs taken in May and June in response to the challenge.

Ferrell McCollough and HDR

The Digital Photography Club of Annapolis featured Ferrell McCollough as guest speaker on Monday, June 2, 2008. McCollough spoke about High Dynamic Range (HDR) Photography, showed many examples of his HDR work, and signed copies of his newly published book, The Complete Guide to High Dynamic Range Digital Photography.

To produce HDR images, McCollough recommended Photomatix software. As a special offer to club members, McCollough said that DPCA members may use the coupon code beforethecoffee to receive a 15% discount on the purchase of PhotoMatix.

McCollough also mentioned photoSIG as a great site for photography critiques.
